Roald Dahl Funny Prizeとは？
Roald Dahl Funny Prizeとは、ユーモアで笑いを届ける絵本を称える賞で2008年から2013年まで続きました。We're Going on a Bear Huntの作者Michael Rosenが設立に関わりました。
Roald Dahl Funny Prizeは7歳から14歳までのほぼ小学生部門、6歳以下の未就学児部門に別れています。各部門に毎年6タイトルがノミネートされ、各部門の優勝者は2500ポンドを受け取ります。
そしてRoald Dahl Funny Prizeは2014年で終了しています。
Michael Rosenが「もはや面白くなくなった」と言っています。人間関係やスポンサー絡みでもめたのかもしれません。勝手な推測ですが。
